Ciskastreet Consulting was founded in 1996 and has become a leading consulting firm that specializes in business development and competitiveness improvement support for local and international companies within the manufacturing and agricultural industries.
We assist small, medium and large local and international companies in innovative and sustainable business and market development strategies. Our skills and capabilities include operational management, market research and financial structuring.
Operational Management:
We assist companies to identify the cost drivers and through a process of observing operations, recording key performance indicators and analysis of outcomes, we can advise our clients on operational improvements. Introducing cost saving measures and/or performance enhancers;
Market research:
We develop and conduct focused market research that aims to identify market opportunities for growth through the development of new markets or new products.
Financial structuring:
We conduct financial feasibility assessment of companies for existing or new businesses and identify the optimal balance sheet structure that is a combination of shareholders’ funds and various types of loan finance.
We also offer a business solutions to help commercialisation of new technology as well as establishment of new businesses though conducting feasibility studies that includes including market research and competitor assessment, technical feasibility and financial risk assessment.
We develop appropriate business plans to help business succeed.
Management
- Kobus Boshoff (M.Sc, MBL)
Kobus has more than 17 years’ business development experience in local and international markets for various industries. International business development and project experience in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain as well as Sub Saharan Africa (Zimbabwe, Kenya).
- Len Cox (Nat Dip Tec Analytical Chemistry, B.Sc)
Len has more than 20 years’ experience in the chemical and related industries. He has worked in various fields in the petrochemical, agro-chemical and research fields.
- Mardorette Gibson (BCom Business Risk)
Mardorette is an experienced business analyst and supports the company with risk assessment and operational improvements.
- Busi Dhladla (Research Associate)
Busi joined the company recently and is fluent in 5 African languages. She supports our business development drive and customer engagement and has a solid grasp of technical matters.
- Waldo Bezuidenhout (N6, MCSE)
Waldo was involved with telecommunications infrastructure and was a network specialist for 13 years with TELKOM, SA’s fixed line service provider.
- Jan Mocke (B Ing Electron, MBL)
Jan is highly experienced in conducting marketing studies, viability studies and drawing up business plans. Jan has excellent knowledge of the fresh produce markets and the strategic positioning of fresh produce markets to optimise profitability
